She holds an undergraduate degree in information technology with a major in software development and a masters in technical and professional communication, which affords her inside perspective and communicative skills necessary to effectively negotiate the unique business and technology challenges in the workplace. She maintains her professional skills through consulting work such as teaching professional development workshops and assisting with large-scale software projects as a technical writer, business analyst or usability expert.
